Wenwu Temple and Xuanzang Temple in Nantou's Sun Moon Lake are two famous landmarks in the area. Wenwu Temple, located on the north shore, deifies Guan Yu and Yue Wumuwang. Xuanzang Temple, located on Qinglong Mountain, houses the remains of the eminent Tang Dynasty monk Xuanzang. · Transportation: Take the lake-circling bus or boat from the Sun Moon Lake Water Village to the various piers, then walk to the temple.
