🛻Transport: Take ferry from Uno Port in Okayama Prefecture on the mainland, or Takamatsu Port in Kagawa Prefecture on Shikoku island

🌟Tips:

🌟Bring your car to the ferry ride is also an experience and transport is easier on the island

🌟Do not forget your sunscreen, it can be super sunny on the island

🌟 Be aware if anyone is waiting to take picture too

Art lovers and travel addicts ✈️, let's talk about Naoshima, Art island! 🇯🇵

This island has been on my bucket list for ages, and honestly, the legendary Yayoi Kusama's iconic yellow pumpkin 💛 was the main reason I had to visit. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! 🍦

It's no surprise that this "art island" 🖼️ draws a significant crowd, especially from Western countries – the buzz about its unique blend of contemporary art and stunning scenery is definitely well-deserved. I'd heard whispers about a picture ban to protect the art and the island's vibe, but surprisingly, I couldn't find any official posts confirming it during my visit. So, snap away 📷 (respectfully, of course!)!

Getting around is super easy and fun – renting a bike 🚲 🚲is absolutely the way to go, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace. Beyond the famous pumpkin 🎃, there are so many incredible galleries and outdoor installations 🌳 to discover. If you're truly looking to immerse yourself, even staying in one of their unique accommodations would be an unforgettable experience. Naoshima is more than just an island; it's an artistic journey you won't want to miss!
