Naoshima: Enjoy the Island of Nature and Art!

I visited Naoshima, an island renowned for its art 🏝️

Floating in the Seto Inland Sea, "Naoshima" is a charming island full of natural beauty ✨

The first thing you’ll notice upon arrival is Yayoi Kusama’s "Red Pumpkin." It features polka dots, and you can even step inside the pumpkin 🎃

We rented a motorbike as soon as we arrived 🏍
While rental bicycles are also a great way to enjoy the breeze, Naoshima has many slopes, so if you’re visiting in the summer, a motorbike is highly recommended!!

We followed the map and toured the island on our motorbike! Naoshima is small enough to explore entirely by bicycle 🙆♀️

Along the way, you’ll find various art installations and museums. Despite its small size, the island is packed with attractions, so it’s best to allocate plenty of time for your visit ◎😌

There are also cafes and gelato shops, and the ice cream you have after enduring the summer heat is exceptional 🍨

Naoshima is a place where you can fully immerse yourself in nature. Why not visit and see for yourself? 💭

📍Naoshima
Naoshima-cho, Kagawa-gun, Kagawa Prefecture

🚢 Access
About 50 minutes by ferry or 25 minutes by high-speed boat from Takamatsu Port

⚠️ Many museums on Naoshima are closed on Mondays, so be sure to check before planning your visit.
