Setouchi Triennale: Hiroshi Sugimoto's Time Corridor

Located on Naoshima, the Hiroshi Sugimoto Time Corridor Exhibition Hall primarily showcases the works of photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto, including themes such as "Seascapes," "Architecture," and "Optics." The exhibition space extends into the lounge and outdoor areas, aiming to create a dialogue between the environment and the artworks. The exhibition hall itself was designed by Tadao Ando and was established in 2022 as a permanent exhibition space. It is incredibly beautiful, with the building's interior incorporating natural light that changes throughout the day, casting varying shadows and highlights on the artworks.

The exhibition hall is not far from the Yellow Pumpkin. Visitors can reach it by bus or electric bicycle. It is recommended to make a reservation on the website in advance.
