[Nara Prefecture] Kasuga Five Generation Dragon God Pilgrimage "Narukai Shrine/Kayama Ryuo Shrine"

Located between the main shrine and the Wakamiya Shrine of Kasuga Taisha Shrine, it enshrines the god of water, Amami Mizumizu-no-Kami (Amaterasu Mizumizu-no-Kami), or Kasuga Dragon God. Because it is located at the source of the water in the mountains of Mt. Kasuga, it is a forbidden area where direct contact is not possible. A long staircase descends from the main shrine to Ryuo Pond, where Kasuga Dragon God is said to reside.
⚫️This is the third worship site on the Kasuga Five Dragon Gods Pilgrimage.
