When I came to Nara, I was looking forward to seeing lots of deer.
Wakakusayama is one of Nara's most famous tourist spots.
It is a small, gentle mountain with an altitude of about 342m.
It is located on the east side of Nara Park, and I passed by it on the way from Tamukeyama Hachiman Shrine to Kasuga Taisha Shrine.
There is a lot of deer because the grass grows all over Wakakusayama.
I was able to interact with many deer while enjoying the nature and views of Nara.
The deer that live in Nara Park are wild animals designated as a national natural monument.
There are things to be careful of.
Don't hit, chase, or play with them.
Don't feed them anything other than deer crackers.
Give them crackers right away. They will get angry if you make them wait.
With the increase in foreign tourists, there are also more and more troubles, so you have to be careful how you interact with them.
