On the first day, I arrived in Osaka's Dotonbori district, and the bustling atmosphere from nighttime onward automatically got me excited. I took a commemorative photo in front of the Glico Man, satisfied my hunger with Ichiran Ramen, and then climbed the Umeda Floating Garden Observatory, marveling at the glittering Osaka nightscape. I was completely captivated by the city's splendor.
On the second day, we headed to Nara! The deer in Nara Park were cute, but I was surprised when they barged in before I could even give them a snack. The grand scale of the Todaiji Great Buddha Hall was truly breathtaking, and the tranquil atmosphere was truly captivating. Just walking through it felt like a spiritual cleansing.
On the third day, we headed to Uji. True to its reputation as a matcha capital, the fragrant scent of tea wafted through every alley, and the tranquil atmosphere was just my style. Byodo-in Temple was picturesque, and the matcha latte I enjoyed while strolling along the Uji River was the most relaxing moment of the trip.
The three cities each had their own distinct character, so I never got bored, and the combination of city, tradition, and nature was perfect. It was a perfect 2-night, 3-day trip that filled my senses, gave me food, and even healed me.
