[Nara] Yakushiji Temple, a World Heritage Site and a symbol of Buddhist culture

#Spring0yentrip
Yakushiji is a historic temple in Nara, and I was overwhelmed by its grandeur in a quiet atmosphere. Yakushiji was founded in the Nara period and is known as a place to learn important Buddhist doctrines. In particular, the Golden Hall and the East Pagoda of Yakushiji are captivating with their beautiful architecture and solemn atmosphere. The Yakushi Nyorai statue enshrined in the Golden Hall is very solemn, and by touching it, I was able to feel the deep spirituality of Buddhism. In addition, the grounds of Yakushiji include the Western Pagoda and a garden, and I was able to enjoy the beautiful architecture and nature while strolling slowly. The garden in particular is particularly beautiful in the season when colorful flowers bloom in a calm atmosphere. Yakushiji is a place that has historical value, but also gives us who live in modern times a quiet peace of mind.
