It's a rare opportunity to participate in a very special travel experience. Although the entire experience is explained in Japanese, a Chinese translator is specially prepared to accompany the Chinese throughout the process.
Many people who travel to Nara only go to Nara Park to feed the deer, but ignore the true historical and cultural value of Nara, and miss out on the many world cultural heritage sites in the ancient capital of Nara. This time I was very fortunate to be able to participate in one of the visits to Yakushiji, the main temple of the Hosso sect.
I have been to this Yakushiji Temple no less than three times. However, this time was different. In addition to experiencing sutra copying, we also listened to the famous Japanese imperial craftsman Ishii Tōryō tell us how they repaired the 1,300-year-old important cultural property Toto and rebuilt this huge Yakushi-ji Temple. His explanation has increased the knowledge of us tourists from China and Japan who are curious about historical buildings. I also felt how the Japanese during the Hakuho period built this East Pagoda that has stood for 1,300 years. Finally, under the guidance of Dongliang, each participant personally experienced this traditional and sacred work of Da Gong.
During this experience, I also tasted the exquisite and delicious bento from Nara Shokado. Each vegetarian dish has a different meaning, bringing the chef's various good wishes to the diners. Each carefully selected ingredient allows diners to enjoy the fun from the appearance, texture, taste and chewing sound [Love]
The entire visit experience lasted nearly 5 hours, which was very fulfilling and made me appreciate the romance of history even more. Modern people and ancient people can communicate across time and space through architecture. I recommend that if there is such a rare opportunity to experience it, don't miss it [Yeah]
