Todaiji Temple in Nara

We traveled from Kyoto to Nara. It's a short trip, but if you only have one day, you can definitely visit Nara. The city's most popular highlight is Todaiji Temple, the largest wooden temple in the world. Inside, a large Buddha statue stands out prominently in the main hall. Throughout the visit, you can feel the devotion of the people who helped create this Buddha statue. This temple is a major destination for both Japanese and international tourists. Along the way, you'll even encounter the adorable Nara deer, who greet visitors with friendly greetings.
