Todai-ji Temple (Nara)

#mytraveldiary

Todai-ji’s Great Buddha Hall is the largest wooden structure in the world, and standing inside it, I felt humbled. The Daibutsu statue, towering and serene, radiated peace and wisdom. The scale of both the hall and the statue was breathtaking, yet the atmosphere was gentle. Children giggled as they tried crawling through a pillar’s hole said to bring enlightenment, adding lightheartedness to the sacred air. Outside, deer wandered freely, making the whole experience unique to Nara. Todai-ji is both awe-inspiring and deeply spiritual. #mytraveldiary
