Visiting Todai-ji Temple in Nara was a truly humbling experience. This UNESCO World Heritage Site houses the world’s largest bronze Buddha statue, and stepping into the massive Daibutsuden Hall left me in awe of its grandeur and craftsmanship. The temple grounds are peaceful, surrounded by friendly deer roaming freely, adding to the charm of the visit.
