Todaiji Temple

One of Japan's most famous Buddhist temples, Todaiji Temple stands out for its wooden Daibutsuden, one of the world's largest wooden structures. Inside, a bronze statue of the Great Buddha (Daibutsu), approximately 15 meters high, is enshrined in the temple grounds. It's surrounded by intricate sculptures and carvings, and the temple grounds offer a tranquil atmosphere with lush greenery and gardens. The temple grounds are also home to a herd of tame Nara deer, creating a charming atmosphere for photography and a close-up look at ancient Japanese culture.
