A Day in HA LONG BAY

Halong Bay or Halong Bay is part of the Gulf of Tonkin, located in the north of Vietnam, not far from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. There are more than 2,000 limestone islands along the bay, and the coastline is 120 kilometers long. The amazing scenery and the rich nature have made this place a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is worth a visit.

To get there, we bought a 1-day trip tour. There was a car to pick us up from the hotel in the morning. We took a boat to Halong City. We had lunch on the boat (included in the trip) and the boat took us to see the islands. We stopped at the Heaven Cave, one of the highlights of Halong Bay, which has 3 large chambers decorated with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. There was a kayak activity through the fishing village and stopped at the island to walk up and see the view of Halong Bay from above. We took a boat back to watch the sunset from the boat. It was very beautiful.
