📍 Todai-ji Temple Review
This was the most impressive place during my trip to Nara⛩️. As you walk deeper into Nara Park, the grand wooden structure gradually comes into view, and you feel overwhelmed from that moment. The entrance is serene, with deer freely roaming around, creating a peaceful atmosphere🦌. The deer are friendly and follow people, making it easy to take close-up photos.
Inside the main hall, there is a massive Great Buddha statue (Daibutsu). Seeing it in person, not only is its size impressive, but the intricate details are so exquisite that you can't help but stare at it for a long time. The interior is quiet and calm, naturally bringing a sense of peace🙏. The pillar with a hole inside the building (which is said to bring good luck if you pass through it) was also interesting, and there were many foreign tourists.
The entrance fee was 600 yen for adults, and the ticket booth and guidance were well-organized. Upon leaving, you can explore the nearby shopping area to buy souvenirs or deer crackers, which was also enjoyable. Overall, it’s a place where "nature + history + tranquility" come together. If you visit Nara, I highly recommend stopping by☺️.
