Sushi Takase (Nara, Japan) Review 🍣

Located in a quiet alley near Nara Station, Sushi Takase exudes a clean and refined atmosphere from the outside. Stepping inside, you're greeted by a cozy space centered around counter seating. The quiet music and dim lighting create a luxurious atmosphere. The small crowds allowed for a close-up view of the chef's skills, and the overall dining experience was relaxed rather than tense. ✨

The omakase I ordered was comprised primarily of seasonal ingredients, and I was impressed by the meticulously prepared sushi pieces that arrived. The tuna, sea urchin, and abalone were particularly well-seasoned, and the rice was consistently warm, creating a perfect balance. The interspersed grilled and a la carte dishes kept the meal fresh, and the desserts rounded out the experience perfectly. 🍢🍣

The prices are a bit high (around 15,000 yen per person), but considering the quality of the food and the level of service, it's well worth it. If you're looking for a special dinner in Nara, it's worth a visit. However, seating is limited, so reservations are essential. If you're looking for a quieter meal, we recommend visiting in the early evening.
