One of the three largest whirlpools in the world 🌊 📍Naruto Whirlpool in Naruto City, Japan

The "Naruto Whirlpool" is a whirlpool landscape that appears on the Naruto Strait in Japan. This is the place with the fastest currents in Japan. When the fast current comes into contact with the slower-flowing seawater around it, a whirlpool is easily formed. When the whirlpool is at its largest, its diameter can exceed 20 meters. It is also one of the three largest whirlpools in the world! You can take a sightseeing boat to watch it up close from the sea, or you can look down directly from about 45 meters above it on the "Whirlpool Road". We chose the latter, which seems to give us a clearer view!

The best time to view the tides is in spring and autumn, but the time for viewing the tides is different every day. The best viewing period is about 1.5 hours before and after the high and low tides twice a day, when you can see relatively large whirlpools!

Although we did not arrive at the best time for viewing, we could not see any big whirlpools, only waves of small whirlpools. After admiring them for a while, we found that the whirlpools were of different sizes and formed very quickly, and then disappeared very quickly. They were particularly obvious when a boat passed by. It was really magical!

You can see the entire "Naruto Whirlpool" on Uzu-no-Michi, and you can feel the shock of the "Naruto Whirlpool" on the sightseeing boat. If you have time, I would like to take a boat to experience it!
