| Cheap and fun. 🏝Negombo, a fish port located in western Sri Lanka.
🌟Recommended highlights: It is only 7 kilometers away from the Sri Lanka International Airport and 30 kilometers from the airport to Colombo. You can rest here after getting off the plane or before leaving without having to rush to any attractions. You can stroll around in the streets and alleys and stay here for two days. It is very comfortable.
🚙Transportation: Taking a 9-seat Uber car at the airport costs 1,800 rupees, equivalent to RMB 40. It will be cheaper if it is a small car.
✅Play recommendations:
1⃣Morawala Beach. The beach here is not as good as other places in Sri Lanka, but it is quiet and open. Don’t miss the sunset and sunset.
2⃣The fish market in Negombo is a very famous tourist attraction. You can watch fishermen shaking small fishes at 6 a.m., and you can buy fresh fish, shrimps, and crabs at the fish market from 7 to 10 a.m. They are very cheap and can be bought for the B&B. Processed, economical and delicious.
❌Tips for avoiding pitfalls: Don’t follow the “enthusiastic” guides at the fish market, as they will ask you for money.
🏨Accommodation: We recommend seaside beach B&Bs, which are very local and cost-effective.
