Shifen Waterfall - Taipei, Taiwan

Shifen Waterfall is a mesmerising natural wonder that showcases the stunning beauty of the island’s lush landscapes. Nestled in the Pingxi District of New Taipei City, this waterfall is known for its height & picturesque surroundings.

The waterfall itself is about 20m tall & spans across a width of 40m. The waterfall is easily accessible by taking a short walk along a well-maintained trail. Along the trail, you will be treated with breathtaking views of the surrounding forests & rivers.

To get to the waterfall, you will most likely be in Shifen Old Street, so it’s just going to be a short stroll to the waterfall. The trail is mostly flat, and easy to navigate, so I would highly recommend everyone to visit it!

Try to visit the Shifen Waterfall during weekdays or non-peak hours to avoid large crowd. And don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes & bring along an insect repellent.
