Take a day off your itinerary to Wulai District (烏來) where you’ll get to enjoy the beauty of nature here - the mountains, waterfall, village and the river!
Not only you will get to see these amazing views, there is an old street known as Wulai Old Street with some of the famous snacks/ food just down the road after alighting from the bus stop. And yes! You can get to Wulai District with a direct bus from Taipei city!
You may take bus 849 from Taipei City depending on which bus stop you would like to get on, it is a direct bus ride and takes about an hour to reach Wulai.
After alighting the bus, the wulai suspension bridge is just a minute walk away! Do be careful while climbing up the stairs to the bridge as it is not well maintained.
