Pingxi must visit the Taiwan version of Niagara Falls🏞️

Located in Pingxi District, New Taipei City, it is a very famous waterfall attraction in Taiwan🏞️. It is also one of the must-see attractions for many tourists to Pingxi for a day trip.

Shifen Waterfall is a curtain-type waterfall. Because its scenery is similar to Niagara Falls in North America, it is also known as the Niagara Falls of Taiwan.

Starting from Shifen Station🚏, you will first pass the Shifen Visitor Center, then the Siguangtan Suspension Bridge, the Waterfall Viewing Suspension Bridge, the Glasses Cave Waterfall and other attractions, and finally the Shifen Waterfall.

PS: Next to the waterfall suspension bridge is the railway track where the train will pass 🛤️, pedestrians are prohibited from passing 🚫🚫🚫

The middle of the route is relatively flat, but there are quite a few stairs.

There are many waterfall viewing platforms near Shifen Waterfall, where visitors can enjoy the waterfall from different angles.

PS: The amount of water in the waterfall will be affected by the rain🫧

Transportation: Take the Taiwan Railway to Ruifang or Badu Station, then transfer to Shifen Station. Walk for about 25 minutes

1. Summer (June-September): 09:00-18:00, last admission at 5:30
2. Non-summer (October-May): 09:00-17:00, last admission at 4:30
