Taiwan's Only Coastal Bookstore | Queen's Bookstore

Queen's Bookstore is a small seaside bookstore located within the Yehliu Geopark. Though the space for book displays is limited, it offers a curated selection of books focusing on ocean and environmental topics, as well as popular titles. Despite its compact size, the bookstore's selection is thoughtfully chosen.

💰 Average Spending:
At the entrance rest area, there is a small shop selling coffee, drinks, smoothies, beer, and snacks like grilled hot dogs. Prices range from 60 to 160 TWD, which are relatively high. The taste and service are average. The mango smoothie here is small and very sweet—good for cooling off but not particularly refreshing.

Next to the bookstore, there is a double swing for simple photo opportunities. Near the small shop, there are a few seats for resting, and the restroom is also in the same area.

The bookstore is located at the far end of Area 2 in Yehliu Geopark, near the Malin Bird Rock Formation.

Opened in the summer of 2023, Queen's Bookstore offers books related to the ocean, ecology, and local history. Curated by Bluebird Culture, the interior design is inspired by the iconic Queen's Head rock formation, and the store's sign features the Queen's Head as well. The bookstore also publishes a limited-edition local magazine, "Queen's Gazette," which introduces Yehliu's natural and cultural history. Cultural walking tour announcements are also posted here, similar to other small bookstores.
