Yehliu Geopark

Taiwan is not just about temples; it also boasts unique and stunning natural attractions. Today, let me take you out of Taipei City to the New Taipei area. You can take bus number 1815 or 1815A from Taipei City Hall Station, which takes about an hour and a half to reach the Yeliu bus stop. Don't worry about getting lost, as there are plenty of tourists, and tour buses also stop here. From the bus stop, it's just a short walk to the park. The entrance fee is around 120 NTD, and you can book in advance on Trip.com. The park is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Yehliu Geopark is a place where the land, formed by rocky mountains, extends into the sea. Over time, erosion by seawater and wind has created uniquely shaped rock formations. The area also has a distinctive ecosystem, which is why it has been preserved as a geopark. We recommend visiting either early in the morning or late in the afternoon before the park closes to capture the best lighting for photos.
