Sandiaoling Trail

Recommended hiking trail: Sandiaoling Trail - a single route to explore 3 beautiful and refreshing waterfalls.
Located just one station away from Houtong Cat Village.
📍 How to get there: Take the local train from Taipei Main Station and get off at Sandiaoling Station. Start walking right away as you'll be surrounded by nature upon arrival. Make sure to bring snacks and water, and use the restroom at the station before starting.
📍 There are a few cafes and food stalls (open late morning) where you can grab a bite before heading back.
📍 The trail is approximately 8 km round trip. It's not too difficult, though there are some steep or wet sections.
📍 Plan your time wisely to ensure you return to the station in time for the train, as trains run about once every hour.
📍 Beyond the last waterfall, there's a path leading uphill to a shrine, where you'll also find restrooms.
