Thirteen Levels Remains
Nicknamed the “Pompeii of Taiwan” or the “Potala Palace of Mines” due to its grandeur and mysterious atmosphere, it is the remains of a large copper smelting plant, built during the Japanese era (1933). The building is built on 13 levels on a hill. It is now a historical tourist attraction and a popular photo spot.

🚎 Take bus no. 856, 788 or 1062 and get off at Shuinandong Smelter stop.
