🏞️ Located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, Baoshi Mountain Trail in Jinguashi is only about 166 meters long and sits at an elevation of 260 meters. It is hailed as "the shortest ocean-view trail in Taiwan." The trailhead is conveniently situated next to the Quanji Temple parking lot, with a gentle slope that allows visitors to reach the summit in just 5-10 minutes, making it suitable for all age groups.
At the top, a 360-degree viewing platform offers breathtaking views of the Yin-Yang Sea, Teapot Mountain, the Thirteen Levels Ruins, and Keelung Mountain. During autumn, visitors can also enjoy the sight of silvergrass swaying across the hills. Along the trail, remnants of the Japanese colonial-era mining industry, such as the No. 6 inclined cableway and red brick ruins (Tianjianche site), have been preserved, making it a popular spot for photography and social media posts.
For transportation, take bus 1062 from Ruifang Train Station and get off at the "Quanji Temple" stop.
