This was a long-awaited two-day, one-night trip to Jiufen. I chose the "Yuan Yi B&B," which I'd been keeping on my wishlist.
It's not in the busiest part of Old Street, but it's only a 3-minute walk away.
It felt just the right distance—not noisy, yet very convenient. ✨
🛏️ I stayed in a "Deluxe Double Room with Sea View."
The moment I opened the door, I was greeted by a large window with a view of the ocean.
The weather was beautiful that day, and the sunlight streamed into the room, bathing the entire space in a golden filter. ☀️
The room was decorated in a minimalist, wooden style and was spacious and clean.
✔️ It came with a sofa area, a small desk, and a flat-screen TV.
✔️ It also had a private bathroom, towels, and a hair dryer.
✔️ There's also a convenience store outside for instant noodles, toothbrushes, and more.
🏠 The first-floor lobby has a retro feel, perfect for photos.
There's also a water dispenser, refrigerator, microwave, and even earplugs, liquid mosquito repellent, and a lightweight raincoat. 💯
🚶♀️ It's a 3-minute walk to Old Street. The walk down the stairs is so beautiful! It's perfect for shopping and eating taro balls during the day, and then strolling back to the B&B in the evening. 🌙
🛵 I came here by scooter, and there's outdoor parking on the fifth floor, so it's super convenient.
🚗 If you're driving, there's also parking nearby.
