Houtong Cat Village, a cat village in the valley in Taiwan

Houtong Cat Village is a village in Taiwan home to a large number of cats and has become a popular tourist attraction for cat lovers. It's easily accessible by TRA train from Taipei Main Station to Houtong Station. The village houses shops, restaurants, cafes, and a museum dedicated to cats and the history of coal mining. We visited in the afternoon, as the cats were mostly sleeping, so we only saw a few.
