Rock Sculptures & Sea Breezes: Yehliu Geopark Adventure 🌊🪨
Get ready for an unmissable stroll through Yehliu Geopark, where wind-carved sandstone formations meet the wild sea. Exploring here in winter is extra special—the crisp air and ocean breeze make the stunning coastal views even more dramatic!

Map your walk along the main trail, passing iconic features like the Queen’s Head and Ginger Rocks. Take your time admiring the funky shapes revealed in the sentimental sandstone and make sure to snap that essential photo with the Queen’s Head from the west side for the best angle. If you’re into geological wonders, pick up a landscape map at the entrance to identify the rock formations as you stroll.

Start early (opens at 8:00) to catch the morning light for “insta-worthy” photos. The path is well-paved but the stones can be slippery—especially after sea spray, so comfy shoes with good grip are a must. Admission is super reasonable, just NT$28. While winter keeps crowds lighter, pack a light jacket for the sea breeze and watch for sudden weather changes. Don’t miss the interpretive signs for cool info on how the landscape was sculpted.

My tip: Yehliu really shines in winter! The scenery feels more peaceful, with breezes bringing in hints of salt and adventure. Walk slow and let nature’s artistry wow you at every turn.
