This is Hongmao Cheng, a fortress built for the Spanish army in Danshui, Taiwan, and recaptured and rebuilt by the Dutch army.

I first learned about it through the movie Secret. I thought I wanted to go there once, and it was really pretty.

It is famous as a photo spot because it is made of red bricks and green grass, so it looks pretty when you take a picture. Especially when you take a picture around sunset, the colors come out really pretty.
