Talad Dem is one of the largest local markets and a landmark of Nha Trang. This market is an important trading center, attracting both Vietnamese and foreign tourists.

It was officially opened in 1980. When viewed from above, the market building looks like a lotus flower. Currently, it still preserves the original architecture, even though new buildings have been built around it. It has become a prominent highlight of Nha Trang.
