Intercontinental Regent, Phu Quoc, Vietnam

Earlier in September, I had the chance to take a relaxing trip to Vietnam. Naturally, I chose a hotel from the Intercontinental chain, as IHG hotels are available worldwide in almost every country.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights, but for now, I’d like to focus on reviewing the club lounge. Let me tell you, the food here is absolutely premium! Everything is fresh and incredibly delicious. The flavors are sure to appeal to Thai people, as Vietnamese and Thai cuisines share many similarities.

The club lounge is located on the first floor, right by the sea. The hotel even has its own private beach, though it’s a bit of a walk since the property is quite expansive. Overall, I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The staff provided excellent service, meeting the standards of a 5-star hotel. To sum up, this trip to Vietnam was mostly spent at the hotel—I didn’t venture out much because everything I needed was right there.
