Kinugawa, a place filled with Tochigi-ness

KAI Kinugawa is a hot spring inn that sits on a small hill overlooking the Kinugawa River.
The hot spring is alkaline and simple.
You can enjoy the Tochigi Mingei Room, a local room.
Kuroba indigo dyeing, Mashiko pottery, and Oya stone are used throughout the building, giving it a Tochigi feel.

One of the things I like about the Hoshino Resorts KAI series is the food.
I love it because every meal is always delicious.
On this day, I had the special kaiseki dinner course of spiny lobster and beef loin Ryujin nabe.
In addition to the Ryujin nabe, which is simmered in a pot with hot stones, there were plenty of Tochigi ingredients such as dried gourd and rolled yuba, as well as sashimi, which made me very satisfied.

In addition, there was a Mashiko ware night where you could learn about Mashiko ware in the evening, and there was a strawberry midnight snack during February, so I was able to spend a relaxing time.
