A hot spring facility accessible by slope car: Kai Kinugawa

"Kai Kinugawa♨️" in Kinugawa Onsen

There is a free shuttle bus (that stops at other hotels) from Kinugawa Onsen Station, so even if you can't drive, it's no problem 🙆🏼‍♀️

(A taxi would cost about ¥1500!)

To get to the hotel, you take a 2-3 minute ride on a private slope car!

It was unfortunate that the weather was bad...

There is a large public bath here, and an open-air bath too!!

The bath surrounded by nature was so cozy🧏🏼‍♀️!

After the bath, you can eat as much black bean tea and popsicles as you want☺️💕The atmosphere is also stylish!!

The meal was served on plates made from Mashiko ware, a Tochigi folk craft, and made with seasonal ingredients, and there was a quiz that was fun!

(I didn't win though...)
The breakfast was Japanese food, and even natto wrapped in straw, which is made in Tochigi Prefecture!! !

The local entertainment held at night is called "Mashiko Pottery Night"

Choose 3 plates that you like from the display

They will teach you about what Mashiko pottery is and its characteristics 😌💫

It was great to actually see it and learn about it!

The Kai series is the best after all ☺️🫶🏻

Hoshino Resort was the best 🏝!
