Toshogu Shrine, Kegon Falls, Lake Chuzenji, etc. are very famous in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture. The fastest train ride from Tokyo is 1 hour and 50 minutes, so it is very suitable for a day trip. It is a convenient and famous tourist destination for Japanese people. Therefore, this time I will introduce the transportation methods from Tobu Railway Asakusa Station to Nikko.

This time we chose to depart from Asakusa to Nikko and take the train from Asakusa Station on the Tobu Railway. There are a total of 4 Asakusa stations, namely Asakusa Station on the Tokyo METRO Ginza Line, Asakusa Station on the Toei Subway Asakusa Line, Asakusa Station on the TSUKUBA EXPRESS, and Asakusa Station on the Tobu Railway. So be sure to know which Asakusa station you are at and don’t get lost.

The day before departure, go to "Tobu Asakusa Station" to explore the route and buy tickets. After entering the station, please lock in the tourist information station with "i", where you can buy tickets and reserve seats. Take a local train to "Tobu Nikko Station" to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Nikko!
