▶️A hot spring inn located in the center of Yunishigawa Onsen.
All rooms offer views of the Yunishigawa River and nature.
Although not new, the Japanese-style rooms are relaxing and named after mountains and flowers.
The elderly proprietress and staff are also aging, but they have a strong hospitality spirit.
The next morning, the snowy scenery seen from the guest rooms and lounge was absolutely beautiful😍.
▶️Yunishigawa Onsen specialty
Irori cuisine
Here you can enjoy Heike falconry cuisine.
This cuisine was created by the descendants of the Heike clan during their secluded life.
Irori cuisine was already prepared at the dinner venue
and ready to eat.
Charcoal-grilled char, yuba, rice cakes, chicken, and bamboo meatballs were all delicious.
We also had local vegetables, venison hotpot, and bracken on a tray.
The local sake served in a wooden box was also delicious.
If I had to say one thing, it would be that the tray is low, so this position might have been difficult for men.
▶️You can always take a bath in the large public bath along the Yunishigawa mountain stream.
There is an indoor bath and an open-air bath.
The open-air bath faced the river and was very pleasant.
The next morning, as the snow steadily piled up,
I felt soothed as I watched the snowy scenery of Yunishigawa.
The spring quality is a slimy, strong alkaline simple spring,
with a slight sulfur scent that leaves your skin smooth.
The three types of private baths (cypress, rock, and kettle-style) are located on the valley side and can be used as many times as you like for free if they are available.
No morning baths available.
