Kengo Kuma's designed Hanling Art Museum is located on a small peninsula by the Dongqian Lake, outside Hanling Town. It is acclaimed as an astonishing art museum, bearing his distinctive style, and it continues the architectural tradition of Hanling, blending into the surrounding lakes, mountains, and even the villages. However, the museum is not yet completed and is not open to the public. Visitors to the ancient town of Hanling can 'check in' outside the museum.
