The Maitreya Altar in Fenghua, Ningbo is like a real-life heavenly palace.

In Xikou Town, Fenghua, Zhejiang, there is a very interesting building - the Maitreya Altar. Located at No. 1 Daci Road, Xikou Town, Fenghua District, Ningbo City, it is a Buddhist sanctuary that perfectly combines classical and modern styles. From a distance, the Maitreya Altar is magnificent, with its golden roof shining in the sun, like a heavenly palace in the clouds.
Tickets are required to enter the park. Upon entering the scenic area, the first thing you see is the Daci Gate with a plaque that reads "Manifestation of the Human World." Turn right, pass a solemn statue of Maitreya Buddha, and you will arrive at the ticket check entrance. The ticket check process is very convenient, and you can scan the code or swipe your ID card.
After entering the scenic area, we first arrived at the Shifang Ruyi Square. On both sides of the square are blessing corridors, with wind chimes swaying and making pleasant sounds. In the middle of the square is a large "bowl," and when it sprays water vapor, a beautiful rainbow appears in the sunlight.
In fact, the most beautiful building here is the Tusita Palace. The Tusita Palace is located on Mount Sumeru. Mount Sumeru symbolizes the mysterious and profound Buddhist world, and the inverted cone design is unique. From the first floor to the ninth floor, we visited Maitreya statues, calligraphy by eminent monks, themed paintings, and multimedia light and shadow displays. Especially the central "light and shadow staircase," each floor showcases different Buddhist themes, with interlacing light and shadow, creating a stunning visual experience.
The Tusita Palace is located at the top of Mount Sumeru, and is the residence of Maitreya Bodhisattva, as well as a place of refuge for Maitreya believers. The interior of the palace is exquisitely decorated, resplendent and magnificent, with a statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva enshrined in the center. The exterior of the palace resembles a blooming flower bud, shining with golden light and exuding grandeur.

⭐️Address: The Maitreya Altar is located at the foot of Xuedou Mountain in Xikou Town, with convenient transportation.

⭐️Photography: The Maitreya Altar is best captured with aerial photography for the best effect. The buildings look even more beautiful when photographed at dusk during the blue hour with the lights on. However, since I was just passing by and didn't have time to wait until dusk, I could only take pictures during the day.
