Deeply Healed by Hiking! May Day Waterside Oxygen-Rich Routes in Ningbo

Two lesser-known waterside hiking routes in Ningbo that are both fun and relaxing. This May Day holiday, come to the mountains to breathe fresh air and splash in the water! Release your emotions and worries as you wander through the forests and let your mind drift in the breeze.

Route 1: Mujiawan-Qianzhangyan-Miaogaotai-Sanyintan-Aodi Loop

🧗‍♂️Elevation gain: 400m+
⏳Duration: 3-4h
✨Highlights:
• The entire route is surrounded by greenery, perfect for breathing in plenty of oxygen in the open air🍀!
• Qianzhangyan - A hundred-meter waterfall cascades down the rock face, looking like "the Milky Way falling from the sky" from a distance
• Sanyintan - A 1600-meter waterfall divided into three sections: Upper Hidden Pool, Middle Hidden Pool, and Lower Hidden Pool. The upper pool is secluded and thrilling; the middle pool is serene; and the lower pool is uniquely beautiful.

Route 2: Zhulin Temple—Mingshan Ravine—Hamanggeng—Dongjiang Ravine—Xikeng—Fuyan Ravine—Zhulin Temple (New Five Connected Ravines Loop)

🚩Trail conditions:
• Although this loop is quite long, it follows ancient paths that are flat and easy to walk. The beginning might be a bit tiring with about 400 meters of climbing
• You'll pass by Xuedu Temple along the way, which you can visit if interested. The route features mountains, trees, streams, bamboo groves 🎍 and red maple forests 🍁, making it beautiful in both spring and autumn
