The most beautiful sea of flowers in Ningbo is back, and it looks even more picturesque in the rain

The Mengjia Flower Sea in Zhenhai District, Ningbo City, is trending again. Many people have posted photos, saying it’s a Gesang flower sea, but the flowers are yellow. Is it a typo or old photos reposted? So I quickly went to the site for an on-the-spot visit.

The flower sea here is indeed in full bloom, and it’s a sea of golden yellow, very picturesque. From what I know, it doesn’t seem to be called Gesang flowers but should be called sulfur cosmos or coreopsis. However, it doesn’t matter as long as the scenery here is beautiful enough.

Mengjia Flower Sea is also a well-established flower sea. Friends who love traveling should be very familiar with it, so I won’t go into detailed descriptions of the scenery. I just want to remind everyone that it’s the best viewing period now, with all the flowers in full bloom. If you want to visit, hurry up.

Mengjia Courtyard or Oxygen Life Homestay are the two most famous homestays around Mengjia Flower Sea and must-visit places for flower watchers. There is another homestay on the east side of the flower sea, which I think is also worth visiting. Although it’s open-style, it has a very garden-like ambiance. The “Zhenhao Together, 2025” sign there is beautiful and romantic, perfect for couples to take photos.

👉【Public Transport】: Navigate to “Mengjia” or “Nianqing Xianting.” There are parking lots in the village and in front of the homestays.
