Exploring the Secret Realm of Southern Anhui, a Hidden Paradise in the Mountains, Xiàlín Scenic Area

🌄 In the scorching mid-August summer, our family stepped into the embrace of the mountains in the eastern part of Ningguo, Southern Anhui. This is Xiàlín, where the Huangshan and Tianmu mountain ranges converge. It felt like we had traveled through time and space, finding ourselves in a natural paradise. The peculiar peaks and secluded caves here each hide a story; the solitary cliffs and sheer precipices tell tales of the passage of time; the ravines and gorges are so perilous they make one's heart race; the cascading waterfalls and flowing springs are densely packed, resembling a moving painting. Standing atop the mountains of Xiàlín, looking at the star-studded waterfalls, it felt like being in the 'First Waterfall Group of Southeast China,' marveling at the wonders of nature.

🍃 Strolling in the Shimen Scenic Area, the towering stone walls reach the clouds, as if carved by a knife, with the two walls facing each other to form a natural barrier. Crossing a small wooden bridge, the view suddenly opens up, revealing those exquisite and elegant wooden houses built by the mountains and rivers, surrounded by green trees and flowing water, as if stepping into a vivid landscape painting. The water of Xiàlín is the soul of this place. By the Four-Tiered Spring, I watched the water flow like satin into the clear pool, with nameless little flowers shimmering in the water like stars. The overall experience is that this scenic area is not yet fully commercialized, and some aspects of maintenance indeed need improvement, but the natural scenery is captivating. The small waterfall group in the Shimen Scenic Area was a rare experience for someone like me who doesn't go out much. The Flying Carpet, Sky Mirror, and Glass Walkway in the Longtan Scenic Area offered a good experience.
