Stayed at Indigo Lugu Lake Hotel and chose to dine at the hotel's neighborhood restaurant. The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was captivated by the design style. The decor showcases modern artistic techniques, yet cleverly integrates Chinese and Yunnan-Burmese cultural elements. It's very beautiful!
The dishes mainly feature Yunnan-Burmese flavors, such as lamb chops, char siu, pork belly, thick soup, pot soup, and rice noodles. The taste was decent, and the three of us had a satisfying meal.
Yunnan-Burmese cuisine is characterized by its freshness, light fragrance, moderate sourness and spiciness, and emphasis on the original taste and flavor. The restaurant did a good job in this regard, showcasing the distinctive features of the ethnic minority cuisine.
