Noboribetsu Jigokudani - A must-see spot in Hokkaido

Jigokudani is located southwest of New Chitose Airport. If you drive by yourself, you can reach it in about an hour on the highway. Jigokudani is a famous hot spring resort in Hokkaido. The air is filled with a strong smell of sulfur and there are many famous hot spring hotels nearby.
There is a parking lot specially designed for self-driving people at the entrance of Jigokudani, which is very convenient. The daily parking fee is 500 yen. After parking, you can walk to Jigokudani to take pictures and admire the hell-like hills. The scenery is unique and beautiful. People with good legs can walk to another scenic spot behind the mountain, Oyunuma. It takes about 40 minutes to an hour to take photos back and forth.
