Noboribetsu is a famous hot spring resort in Hokkaido, and Jigokudani is the source of hot spring water.

Hell Valley is open to the public for free. The scenery is spectacular and shocking.
As we approached the valley, we could smell the sulfur smell like rotten eggs.
The valley is filled with hot steam from sulfur hot springs.

There is a plank road in Hell Valley for tourists to enjoy. It takes about 15-30 minutes to walk through. However, the ground is very slippery in winter and tourists have been seen falling along the way, so remember to be careful!

It is recommended that you go there in the evening so that you can enjoy the scenery of the lights at night.
