Noboribetsu Onsen is ranked highly as one of the most popular hot springs in Japan. Noboribetsu Jigokudani, located in the center of the hot spring town, has numerous fumaroles along the valley, and is said to be called the hell where demons live because of its scenery. The hot springs at Noboribetsu Onsen are sourced from this area. The combination of steam and snow at Snowy Jigokudani was wonderful.
