Jakarta truly surprised me in the best way! It’s a city that never sleeps, full of energy, colors, and kind people. From the moment I landed, I could feel the warmth — not just from the weather, but from the locals who are always smiling, helpful, and genuinely friendly.

Whether it was the hotel staff greeting me with a cheerful “Selamat datang!” every morning, the Grab driver sharing local tips about hidden food spots, or the lady at a street stall teaching me how to say “Terima kasih” properly — every little encounter made me fall in love with this city.

The mix of tradition and modern life here is beautiful. One minute you’re sipping coffee in a stylish rooftop café overlooking skyscrapers, and the next you’re walking through local markets filled with laughter, spices, and the aroma of sate ayam.

What touched me most was the kindness everywhere — people always ready to help without expecting anything in return. Jakarta might be busy and chaotic, but it’s also full of heart.
