The weather was cold when we arrived at the Grand Hotel in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, but it made the afternoon tea experience even more memorable. The hotel staff was very warm-hearted.

The staff was very considerate and provided a heater for my father to use, and always cared whether our family felt cold. Such attentive service makes people feel at home even in a foreign country.

☕ Enjoy classic English afternoon tea, paired with local specialty teas and aromatic coffee, as well as a variety of desserts and sandwiches. Every bite is full of happiness. The colonial-style decoration and quiet atmosphere inside the hotel added a lot of style to this afternoon trip.


Every detail in the hotel is full of stories, from the gorgeous chandeliers to the colonial-style arched corridors, each one is worth savoring. The garden outside the hotel is lush and green, perfect for strolling or taking photos.
