DAMRO tea centre, Nuwara Eliya

On the way from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya by car, we found about four tea facilities that we could visit. At Bluefield, there were many cars with Sri Lankan families, and at Oakley, there were several foreign tour buses. At DAMRO, there was only one car in the parking lot, so we stopped there to use the restroom. The paid toilet was free when we said we didn't have coins, and the factory tour was also free, with the staff explaining things slowly and in easy-to-understand English. At the end, we chose from eight types and tasted them, and purchased our favorite tea. It was special to enjoy Ceylon tea on Noritake tableware while looking at the beautiful tea fields.
