A Sapporo Trip: Enjoyable Even Without Snow
When I think of Sapporo, I first picture a landscape blanketed in white snow, but upon visiting, I discovered a completely different charm in each season. Even without snow, Sapporo's true colors were clearly evident.
My first stop in the city was Odori Park. While it hosts the Snow Festival in winter, in the snow-free season, it was filled with lush green lawns, manicured gardens, and seasonal flowers. People relaxing on benches and strolling around created a relaxed atmosphere.
Another memorable spot was the Sapporo TV Tower Observatory. Instead of a snow-covered white city, the colorful buildings and distant mountains were vividly displayed. The clear weather complemented the cool Hokkaido sky, making it look like a painting.
✨ Summary
Contrary to its image as a winter destination, Sapporo, without snow, was a vibrant and colorful city. I realized that nature, culture, and food all come together to create a place you can enjoy no matter the season.
