I visited this museum because of the Bizen pottery collection. I enjoyed seeing this, and also the sword collection, as I hadn't been aware that Okayama was also famous for swords. It was a bit frustrating that so little information in the museum was in English. I used Google Translate to read the labels, which had one attendant concerned that I was taking photos or videos (both forbidden), until she saw that I was trying to read the labels. One exhibit allows you to pick up a replica sword to understand how heavy these were, and that was fun. Entry to this museum is a small extra amount on top of entry to Korakuen which is right next door so, despite the frustrations, it was worthwhile.
